FATHER'S DAY BRUNCH

Well it sure has been a while since I've posted....
Not sure where to start, but here it goes with our Father's Day Brunch from last Sunday!

When browsing on Pinterest I found some fun ideas for brunch, which we haven't done in the longest time either BTW!! Misha would like us to do brunch every Sunday now!!!

One of them was these individual eggs wrapped in bacon with cheese and toast bread. What is nice is that you can make 12 at a time rather than standing over the stove top for ages... Next time I just need to monitor the cooking time as the yellows weren't runny enough for my taste!

The other idea I tested were my stuffed mushrooms. Inspired by my friend Manue, I adapted her recipe for some little mushrooms she serves as an apetizer. I just mixed some plain cream cheese and pepper cream cheese with some crème fraiche and fresh (actually frozen) herbs to garnish my mushrooms. Even a small amount of cream cheese can go a long way.... Salt & Pepper sprinkled on top and into the oven under the grill next to my parmesan & basil tomatoes.

YUM!!

Next time I may try out Manue's other mushroom recipe with quail eggs....

Not sure it will be a weekly Sunday brunch, but we'll definitely be doing it more often!!
